International Schools in Singapore

Whether you are coming from abroad, or relocating to Singapore, we at Nestia have put together a small guide of some international schools in Singapore just for you. Having a diverse community, Singapore offers a variety of international schools, with different curriculum, and different languages spoken. These schools differ in size and the age groups to whom they provide education.

United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA)
Two different campuses are located at Dover Road and Tampines Street. This school is reputable due to its high academic standards, and has become a favourite among expats. Expectations are high both within and beyond the school, and it has an extensive extra-curriculum programme. Education is offered from kindergarten until Grade 12 (4-19 years). Its curriculum is British and IB.

Canadian International School
Located at Jurong West Street and Tanjong Katong Road, this schools currently hosts 2500 students, providing a curriculum based on the Canadian and IB school system. Both campuses have a distinguished look, and provide good learning facilities. CIS provides educational services to students from as young as 2 years old to 18 years old (Grade 12).

Singapore American School
The 36-acre campus is located at Woodlands Street. It has around 4000 students, and has a great reputation in Singapore. Widely known for its great academic environment, as well as extensive extra curriculum activities, it provides schooling from the age of 3 to 18. The curriculum is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and offers the American High School Diploma.

Tanglin Trust School
Located in Portsdown Road, this establishment provides one of the best-recognized educations in Singapore, and even supplies students to some of the best universities in the world. Learning has a British and international base. The schools are owned by a trust, which makes the price competitive in comparison to some of the other international schools. The age group for its students ranges from 3 to 17.

Singapore Japanese School (SJS)
There are two elementary schools of the SJS in Clementi and Changi. A junior high school division can also be found in West Coast. As of 2015, the combined student population is around 2,440. This makes SJS one of the biggest overseas Japanese school in the world.
